The former State and current Australian title-holder was ecstatic when Mick Croucher gave him the nod as a suitable replacement late yesterday. Speaking from his home in Melbourne Delic said, “I am coming fresh off a win and am in great shape. Dondon is a tough opponent but I am confident he will soon learn why they call me “Psycho”.

SHOWDOWN IN SINGAPORE
NOVEMBER 25TH @ SUNTEC INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION AND EXHIBITION CENTRE
WBF World Welterweight Title
Promoter PURE details’ John Leung and World Boxing Foundation (WBF) President Mick Croucher have announced that Singapore is set to stage its first boxing World Title in Singapore since 1989 and only second ever World Title bout when rugged Nigerian born Australian champion Soloman Egberime (14-2, 9 KO’s) faces the hard punching and dangerous Filipino Dondon Sultan who is a former WBA Asian champion (13-7-2, 7 KO’s) in a 12 round Welterweight World Title Fight.
Dondon is a known spoiler who has a 1st rnd KO win over the highly rated and previously undefeate Anton Solopov. Solopov is a prodigy of the legendary former WBA, WBC & IBF light welterweight world champion Kostya Tsyzu. Dondon also has a TKO win over Egberime when they first met in 2004. Croucher said that he was proud of the WBF’s involvement in this historic event, “I was scheduled to officiate a WBF title fight in the USA and was pleased to be able to reschedule enabling me to attend and witness what promises to be a 12 round war between two true warriors. It is fantastic to work with John who is flying people in from all over the region to make this happen.”
“The multi-cultural card promises to be an exciting one with boxers from Australia, Philippines, Thailand, Africa and Singapore’s very own “Mohd Nor Rizan”. Former 4 time World Champion Barry Michaels will be sending his latest star Emmet Gazzard to fight for the WBF Intercontinental Batamweight title. Speaking from his home in Australia Michaels said, “It is fantastic to finally see a World Title in Singapore again. There is so much home grown talent in the Asian Pacific region and I am proud to be involved.”
